Fields Road Elementary School
Project Description
Fields Road Elementary School, located in Gaithersburg, Maryland and designed by Proffitt & Associates out of Frederick, Maryland. It consisted of a 25,162 sq.ft. wrap-around wing addition, miscellaneous site improvements, and interior renovations of existing 46,623 sq.ft. area school facility that was originally constructed by Henley Construction Co., Inc. for Montgomery County Public Schools back in the early 1970’s.
Glasgow Middle School
Project Description
Glasgow Middle School, designed by Ballou Justice Upton Architects, Richmond, Virginia, was a facility replacement for the existing Glasgow Middle School located in Fairfax County, Virginia. The school was originally constructed in the early 1960s for a core capacity of 750 students and in 2001 had 1250 students enrolled.
Lake Braddock High School
Project Description
Originally constructed in 1973, Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke, VA was designed by Samaha Associates, PC of Fairfax, VA and involved 80,000 sf of addition and 520,000 sf of renovation while the building was occupied by more than 4,000 students. Circulation paths within and between the sub-schools were complex and congested.
Lakelands Park Middle School
Project Description
The new 148,065 g.s.f. Lakelands Park Middle School is located in the new town of Kentlands/Lakeklands, Maryland and was designed by Grimm and Parker Architects of Calverton, MD to fit the "New Urbanist" fabric of the community. This is one of the largest middle schools in Maryland.
National Lutheran Lobby
Project Description
The National Lutheran Home and Village Lobby Renovation project, designed by RLPS Architects, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, renovated the main lobby area to provide a more open and inviting entry experience for residents, employees and visitors.
Nottingham Elementary School
Project Description
The renovation and additions to Nottingham Elementary School located in Arlington, VA was designed by Samaha Associates, PC of Fairfax, VA with its past history and location within an established older neighborhood, represents the small neighborhood schools of our past.
Northwest High School
Project Description
Northwest High School in Germantown, MD was designed by Samaha Associates, PC of Fairfax, VA. We have constructed two separate projects (2001 and 2006), both major additions and minor renovations that increased the student capacity of the school from 1,350 to 2,000.
